Jordan Isabella Witte, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, sees children, adolescents and adults for psychiatric evaluation and management at Hastings Family Care (HFC).
Originally from Ogallala, Witte earned a Bachelor of Music before completing the accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program through the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). She worked in acute and community-based behavioral health settings before earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice at UNMC and becoming a board-certified psychiatricmental health nurse practitioner.
During her doctoral training, Witte completed clinical rotations in a variety of settings, including HFC with Dacia Oakeson, APRN. She said her HFC experience showed her the value of having psychiatric and primary care services in the same clinic, which contributed to her decision to return to HFC. As a rural Nebraska native, Witte said she also appreciates the need for mental health services in rural communities.
Outside the clinical setting, Witte enjoys the outdoors, playing the harp and piano, teaching yoga and spending time with family.
