Nurse Navigator

Nurse navigators serve as a patient advocate, removing any barriers that patients encounter.

Nurse navigators:

  • Educate the patient about her disease and treatment options.
  • Offer emotional support.
  • Assist in communication with doctors and act as a liaison.
  • Offer aid in setting up appointments.

Nurse navigators fill a vital patient advocacy role, providing a consistent point of patient contact in the highly fragmented healthcare industry.
