Interpretation/Translation Services
The hospital cares for many non-English speaking patients and provides several translation services to bridge the language barrier.
MLH has certified Hispanic interpreters available M-F from 800am-430pm to help with interpretation and translation needs. Every effort will be made to use our in-house certified staff during this time. When our in-house certified Hispanic interpreters are unavailable or for other languages, the Language Line is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Language Line
Language line is an over-the-phone or video interpretation system. The service provides access to interpreters for more than 140 languages*, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In most cases, an interpreter is available within moments.
