Auris Health's Monarch(TM) Robot
A game changer in lung cancer detection
Early detection of lung cancer is key to fighting the disease. That is why MLH is proud to be the first in Nebraska to be use Auris Health's MonarchTM Platform. The robot offers our medical providers and surgeons advanced maneuverability when accessing and taking samples from previously hard-to-reach parts of the lung.
The MonarchTM utilizes a video game-like controller that makes maneuvering the flexible endoscope incredibly intuitive. 3-D models of the patient's lung anatomy are generated, giving physicians a clear map to easily route the endoscope to the desired location. Once a sample has been taken, the endoscope is retreated the same way it came in, making recovery from the procedure virtually instantaneous.
