Safe Kids South Central
Safe Kids South Central is a non-profit childhood injury prevention coalition led by Mary Lanning Healthcare. Our focus areas include Child Passenger Safety, Bicycle Safety and Home Safety. Our main focus is Child Passenger Safety, as it is the number one cause of death in children ages 1-14 and the number one cause of injury in children ages 2-14.
Car Seat Inspection Station (by appointment)
We have a car seat inspection station (by appointment only). We teach families how to use any car seat for free.

We do have a limited number of car seats for sale as well, with a price reduction for those who have Medicaid, Kids Connection, or WIC. We do not have infant seats for sale.
We also sell and fit bike helmets at a very reduced price of $5. This can be done at the inspection station, but no appointment is needed. Our Home Safety program is run through Healthy Beginnings.
