Curriculum and Faculty
Mary Lanning Healthcare School of Radiologic Technology uses a combination of synchronous two-way interactive video and face-to-face delivery methods for the didactic education component of the program.
Clinical instruction is provided at various affiliated radiology departments in the Hastings, Grand Island, and Kearney geographical areas under the supervision and instruction of a clinical preceptor. The student performs various radiographic procedures while in the clinical setting to develop the skills necessary to become a Registered Radiographer. In addition to performance in diagnostic and specialized radiographic procedures, the student will experience scheduled clinical rotations in Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, and Computerized Tomography.
During the 24 month program, the student spends approximately 40 hours a week in classroom and clinical settings.

Upon successful completion of the 24-month program, the graduate is awarded an Associate of Applied Science Degree and is eligible to apply for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification examination. The Radiologic Technology Program is approved for 60 credit hours toward advanced degrees from:
