The Morrison Cancer Center offers medical oncologists who oversee your oncology care by coordinating with other experts, including physicians who specialize in pathology, radiology, surgery and radiation therapy. Together, they develop treatment plans which may include, surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, hormone therapy, targeted therapy or immunotherapy.
The MCC team includes advanced practice providers, nurse practitioners who specialize in caring for oncology patients. Along with nurse practitioners, we employee oncology-certified nurses and board-certified oncology pharmacists. These professionals possess advanced knowledge and experience to optimize outcomes for oncology patients. Together, our team monitors you throughout treatment to manage symptoms and improve your quality of life.
Hematology
Hematology is a medical specialty that treats diseases related to blood, bone marrow and lymph nodes. MCC medical oncologists/hematologists evaluate the latest advancements in malignant and benign hematological diseases. Providers will explain the various treatments and management of these conditions.
