The Laboratory Department at Mary Lanning Healthcare features a highly-trained team of specialists and technicians, and is fully equipped to deliver outstanding services to physicians and patients.
Laboratory Services directly performs more than 96% of the tests available at Mary Lanning Healthcare. In addition to our in-house patients, we serve a variety of clients who use outside laboratory services, such as critical access hospitals, clinics and private practices within a 50-mile radius. Our laboratory performed more than 300,000 billable tests in 2021.
Our facility maintains complementary, identical equipment, calibrated to yield identical results for most tests performed in order ensure testing is always available and done as quickly as possible.
Each of our skilled Medical Technologists and Medical Lab Technicians is certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
We have more than 50 talented staff members with a combined 300+ years’ experience.
Our three pathologists are certified in cancer diagnosis along with clinical and anatomic pathology.
Covid Testing
Currently, our laboratory is not performing Covid testing to the public unless a doctor’s order is provided. If you’re in need of a test or more information regarding testing, please call the South Heartland District Health Department or visit their website.
