Infusion Unit
Outpatient Infusion Services
The Outpatient Infusion Center provides medication administration and wound care by Registered Nurses in a centralized outpatient clinic-type setting on the 5th Floor. All services require pre-scheduled appointments. Referrals come from the patient’s primary care provider or physician of choice.
Services provided include:
- IV antibiotics
- Cardiac medications
- Chemotherapy agents
- Blood and blood products
- Injections
- Lab draws from venous devices
- IV fluids
- Medications that require monitoring prior to or during administration
Hours
We provide services for adult and pediatric (ages 9 and above) populations during the following hours:
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. 8:00 am – 12:00 p.m., Saturday, Sunday and holidays.
We coordinate services with:
- Pharmacy
- Health Information
- Laboratory
- Social Services
- Home Health
