Applications & Prerequisites
Applications are accepted between October 1 and January 15 each year. Appointments of qualified applicants are made regardless of race, color, creed, sex, national origin, age, marital status, or handicap. Enrollment is limited. A personal interview is required as part of the application process. Additional requirements include official ACT scores, high school transcripts, college transcripts and letters of reference.
A physical examination and complete Hepatitis B vaccine series is required of all accepted applicants.

Prerequisites
Applicants must have at least 30 college credits and a minimum GPA of 3.0. Suggested elective courses in Humanities, Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Information Systems may be beneficial. Candidates accepted to the program will begin in August. Anatomy & Physiology courses, College Algebra, and any other Math courses must be completed within the last 10 years.
30 Credits, including:
- English Composition - 3.0 hours
- College Algebra - 3.0 hours
- Anatomy/Physiology - 8.0 hours
- Medical Terminology - 1.0 hours
- Oral Communication - 3.0 hours
- Psychology - 3.0 hours
