Applications & Prerequisites

Applications are accepted between October 1 and January 15 each year. Appointments of qualified applicants are made regardless of race, color, creed, sex, national origin, age, marital status, or handicap. Enrollment is limited. A personal interview is required as part of the application process. Additional requirements include official ACT scores, high school transcripts, college transcripts and letters of reference. Candidates accepted to the program will begin in August.

A physical examination and complete Hepatitis B vaccine series is required of all accepted applicants.

Applicants must have at least 30 college credits and a minimum GPA of 3.0. Suggested elective courses in Humanities, Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Information Systems may be beneficial.

30 Credits, including:   

  • English Composition - 3.0 hours
  • College Algebra (or equivalent course) - 3.0 hours
  • Anatomy/Physiology - 8.0 hours
  • Medical Terminology - 1.0 hours
  • Oral Communication - 3.0 hours
  • Psychology - 3.0 hours

Application to the program is made by completing an application form, submitting a $25.00 application fee and mailing it to Mary Lanning Healthcare School of Radiologic Technology.
