The Affordable Care Act (ACA) requires Applicable Large Employers (ALE) to provide employees with Form 1095-C, a tax form that documents health insurance coverage offered by an employer by a specific deadline each year. For plan year 2024, the deadline is March 3.
Starting with the 2024 calendar year, instead of mailing Forms 1095-C to employees, the Paperwork Burden Reduction Act allows employers to furnish Forms 1095-C electronically. Employees can request a paper copy of Form 1095-C by contacting the Mary Lanning Human Resources office by phone, email or USPS mail (information furnished below) and a copy of the1095-C will be provided within 30 days of the request or by January 31 of the following the applicable calendar year, whichever is later.
This notice must be posted from March 3 through October 15 of each plan year.
