Our Staff

Susan Meeske

Susan is the Chief Development Officer. She has her BA from Hastings College and her MBA from Rollins College. She started with the Foundation in 2021. Previously she worked in a variety marketing and sales roles for Hastings College, the Leadership Difference, Universal Studios Resort and Walt Disney World.

Sherrie Hollister

Sherrie is the Fiscal Specialist and a graduate of Hastings College with a degree in Economics. She has been with the Foundation since 2004. Prior to coming to the Foundation, she was in banking for 19 years.

Madison Jagels

Madison is the Marketing & Development Specialist. She is a graduate of Hastings College with a degree in Marketing and Digital Design and Development. She started with the foundation in 2024. She brings marketing experience from several fields and strategies from previously working in economic development.

Betsy Quandt of Loup City

For Loup City mother Betsy Quandt, having choices and a voice was most important for her when she chose to deliver her babies at Mary Lanning Healthcare.

“When you go to the hospital, you have to kind of give up your autonomy to them in many ways,” Quandt said. “It’s really uncomfortable if you aren’t on the same page.”

Greg Sinner of Hastings

For Hastings resident Greg Sinner, life changed on February 1, 2023, when he was told he had cancer.

“One minute, life is routine and running fast; then the doctor sits you down and tells you that you have cancer, and everything changes.”

Right away, Sinner was put in touch with the Morrison Cancer Center and Dr. M. Sitki Copur, where he had an appointment a few days later. Dr. Copur created an aggressive plan of radiation and chemotherapy to shrink Sinner’s tumor. The goal was…
