Katie Thompson, MD, is seeing patients at Hastings Family Care.
A Valentine native, Dr. Thompson received her Bachelor’s Degree from Wayne State College and her Medical Degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She completed her residency at Sioux Falls Family Medicine Residency Program in South Dakota.
After residency, Dr. Thompson practiced medicine in Broken Bow. She then relocated to Hastings where she has been caring for patients since 2021.
“I’m excited to return to a full scope family medicine practice and continue to care for Hastings and the surrounding communities,” Thompson said. Dr. Thompson and her husband, Blake, live in Hastings with their three boys. She enjoys golf; family, including three dogs; and outdoor activities.
