Sam Rayburn, PA-C, is a central Nebraska native. He grew up in Juniata, and graduated from Adams Central High School. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Wayne State College through the Rural Health Opportunities Program (RHOP), and a master’s degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed his Physician Assistant studies at the Kearney campus.
He started his career as a PA at Hastings Orthopaedics in 2019 and has been with their team ever since. He now works with Drs. Hood and Heidemann to provide care for patients with a vast array of orthopaedic issues.
Sam and his wife, Kailey, live in Hastings, where she has been an elementary teacher for the last nine years. They both grew up in the Hastings area and found it important to return and serve the communities that raised them. At home, they have three boys and one dog that keep them active.
