Olivia Necola, MD, has joined the Mary Lanning Healthcare Hospitalist Team.
Dr. Necola received her Medical Degree from New York Medical College. She completed her residency at Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital in New York. She has worked as a hospitalist for five years, first in North Platte and for one year in New York before coming to MLH.
After growing up in New York, Dr. Necola said she enjoys living in Nebraska and visiting her family back in New York.
“It’s the best of both worlds,” she said. “Here, I can have a reasonable census and have time to connect with patients.”
“I’m a people person,” she said. “I enjoy joking around with my patients and figuring out how to put a smile on their face and make their day.”
Dr. Necola said she has a passion for palliative care and she hopes to be involved in that program at MLH, in addition to being a hospitalist.
Outside of work, Dr. Necola said she enjoys cooking and aesthetic medicine and cosmetics.
