Michaela Gulzow, APRN, is a Grand Island native. She graduated with her nursing degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and
received her Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree at Creighton University. She worked at Mary Lanning Healthcare as an ER nurse for four years before
becoming an APRN. She then worked in Ainsworth for three years as a family nurse practitioner. She received her emergency nurse practitioner
certification. She said she enjoys working in the ER because "it is very gratifying to be able to save people's lives." She said she is happy to return
to MLH because she has many good friends who work here. Michaela and her husband live in Grand Island. She enjoys golfing, outdoor activities and
her German shorthair dog.
