Holdrege native Dillon Hixson, PharmD, is working as the ambulatory pharmacist at Hastings Family Care (HFC).
Hixson attended Concordia College in Seward before graduating from the University of Nebraska Medical Center Pharmacy School in Omaha. Hixson worked in retail pharmacy while attending school and completed an internship at Children’s Hospital in Omaha before joining the Mary Lanning Healthcare team as an inpatient pharmacist.
As an ambulatory pharmacist, Hixson sees patients through HFC provider referrals to help manage chronic conditions that require medication.
Hixson said he is excited about the opportunity to try something new as a pharmacist and help grow a new position at HFC.
Hixson lives in Hastings with his wife, Hannah, and their dogs. He enjoys the outdoors and sports.
