Karly Barnes, OTD OTR/L CLT, is a dedicated occupational therapist from Grand Island. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the College of Saint Mary in Omaha in 2021, followed by her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy in 2024. In October 2024, she achieved her Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) credential after completing her comprehensive lymphedema certification.
Passionate about patient education and meaningful connections, Karly prioritizes educating her patient so they understand their conditions. She works with a diverse patient population, including those with lymphedema, pediatric patients and adults with sensory processing difficulties. She values the variety in her practice, believing it makes her a more well-rounded therapist.
Karly provides care at the Morrison Cancer Center in Grand Island and the outpatient adult and pediatric clinics in Hastings. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active at the gym and discovering new music and podcasts.
