Jennifer's Nomination Letter:
Jenny is a night nurse who had a huge impact on my stay. I spent the first two nights sleeping in the recliner, holding and rocking my daughter and while I would never admit it, my back was absolutely killing me. The 3rd night Jenny (who we hadn’t had yet on this stay) walked in the room, looked around, and said “we are going to rearrange this room so you can have a bed to sleep in next to your daughter.” Within 10 minutes she had moved the crib, recliner, and bed so that my bed was along the wall with all the monitors next to the crib. This way if my daughter woke up, she could get in bed with me instead of having to sit up in the recliner with her. This was absolutely heaven and the remaining of my nights was SO much better. My daughter and I both slept better this way! While I’m sure this nurse didn’t feel she was doing anything special and just “doing her job”…to me, this made a tremendous impact on my stay! Jenny took care of my daughter for 2 nights.
