The Century Project Capital Campaign helped prepare Mary Lanning Healthcare for the future with a $35 million expansion project that added or renovated 100,000 square feet of space designed for enhanced safety, privacy, accessibility and community.
A 22,500 square five-story tower constructed on the north side of the building includes:
- Johnson Surgery Center
- Rolls Family Care Center
- E.C. Foote Medical-Surgical Care Center
- Hohnstein Critical Care & Progressive Care Center
- Perkins-Spady Recuperative Gardens
The existing tower underwent extensive renovation, from infrastructure and new windows, to the expansion and relocation of numerous hospital services.
Other construction projects completed in recent years include:
- Home Away From Home is a hospice and hospitality house located just east of the hospital campus.
- The PAC2 Center is a comprehensive childcare center serving kids six weeks to 13 years old.
- The Morrison Cancer Center is a 13,000 square foot treatment center that combines diagnostic, treatment and support services in one easily accessible location.
- The Healing Garden is located on the east side of the building, and viewable from all chemotherapy treatment spaces.
- Images for Hope is a series of large shadow boxes that provide a therapeutic visual experience for cancer patients undergoing treatment.
