The Cancer Walk & Butterfly Release celebrates and supports cancer patients, honoring their relationships with their caregivers. Held every summer, the event raises money for the Morrison Cancer Center and the "Hope & Healing" program for patients during and after treatment. The program is offered at no cost and includes on-site and off-site options. The four main areas of service are makeup, skin care, wigs and hair and cancer prosthetics.
The event features a one-mile walk and butterfly release plus food trucks, face painting for kids and music.
