Reproductive Health
Hastings Family Care is a Title X service site, and a subgrantee of Nebraska Family Planning. Title X is the sole federal program dedicated to providing comprehensive family planning services and preventative health services. These services include contraception, pregnancy testing and counseling, preconception health care, STI/HIV screening and treatment, breast and pelvic exams, breast and cervical cancer screenings, and basic infertility services.
The Title X program supports high-quality, culturally sensitive care and prioritizes services for low-income, under-insured, and uninsured individuals who may otherwise lack access to health care.
Hastings Family Care’s Reproductive Health program is funded by donations, grant funding, patient insurance, and patient fees. Fees to patients for reproductive care are based on their income and household size using a sliding fee scale. Payment plans can be arranged, and no one is denied services based on an inability to pay.
