Parents can get help and advice on car seat fitting and installation during an event on Thursday, September 17.
Safe Kids South Central’s Car Seat Event runs from 2:30-5 p.m. at Hastings Head Start, 123 N. Marian Road. Certified car seat technicians will make sure your baby, toddler or child is buckled correctly into the appropriate car seat or booster seat. Car seats will be available for purchase at a reduced rate, as well. Appointments are not necessary.
For those who cannot attend the Car Seat Event, Safe Kids South Central also schedules appointments for its event at the Lincoln Park Fire Station, 1145 S. Hastings Avenue, on the first Tuesday of each month. To make an appointment, please call 402-460-5884.
