Dr. Shade Whalen sees patients at Central Nebraska Children & Adolescent Clinic in Grand Island.
A central Nebraska native, Dr. Whalen attended Drake University and received his Medical Degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in 2003. Dr. Whalen completed pediatric residency at the University of Alabama, Birmingham between 2003 and 2006.
Dr. Whalen is a board-certified pediatrician and member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). He has worked for Children & Adolescent Clinic for more than 17 years and has a special interest in neonatology, behavioral and special needs children.
He lives in Marquette with his wife, Kari, and four kids, Caleb, Briggs, Oakley and Baylor.
