Dr. Dietze is a board certified general surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the Nebraska Medical Association. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Pediatric Life Support.
He grew up in Hastings and is a graduate of Hastings High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from University of Nebraska Lincoln and his Medical Degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in 2017. He completed his general surgery residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Dr. Dietze is an adjunct professor at the UNMC, participating in the general surgery resident rotation at Mary Lanning Healthcare.
Dr. Dietze is pleased to return to Hastings and provide surgical care for Central Nebraska communities. When he is not with his patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife, playing disc golf and board games, 3D printing, and exploring the great outdoors.
