HASTINGS — Dr. Pradipta Chaudhuri announced recently that he is leaving his practice in Hastings to pursue opportunities elsewhere.
“I am saddened to announce my departure from the practice of medicine in the Hastings community,” Dr. Chaudhuri said. “I have been greatly enriched as a physician and a person caring for patients at Mary Lanning. I will miss the patients and my colleagues at Bryan Heart Mary Lanning Cardiology.”
A public Farewell Reception for Dr. Chaudhuri will take place on Friday, March 1, from 4-6 p.m. at Mary Lanning Healthcare on Ground Floor in Conference Room 1.
Dr. Chaudhuri has been a long-time cardiologist in Hastings. He spent a couple of years in Ohio, then returned to Hastings in 2012 to join the Bryan Heart team.
Patients of Bryan Heart Mary Lanning Cardiology will continue to be seen by Dr. Abhi Basoor and Dale Gibson, APRN.
Dr. Chaudhuri has been an outstanding member of the Mary Lanning team and he will be missed, said Eric Barber, MLH President and CEO.
“We have appreciated Dr. Chaudhuri’s leadership among the cardiac physicians who practice at Mary Lanning,” Callahan said. Mary Lanning has expanded its cardiac care services and cath lab over the past decade.
“We wish Dr. Chaudhuri well as he starts a new chapter in his life,” Barber said.
