Access to good mental health care has always been important.
But the current climate in the United States, with COVID-19 and a devisive election, has created an even larger need for such services. Let’s face it, many of us are worried about the future. For some of us, that means we need to lean on someone.
The Lanning Center for Behavioral Services in Hastings wants to make sure services are available should you need them. That’s why the Lanning Center offers open access to therapy on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
That means anyone who thinks they might need to speak to a therapist will be seen in order of arrival on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. You do not need to have seen a therapist before in order to qualify.
Patients are asked to arrive by 12 p.m. Their names will be placed on a list in order of arrival. Appointments are provided in person, through telehealth (on screen) or on the telephone. Your comfort level is our priority. If you need more information, please call 402-463-7711.
Jeromy Warner, PSYD LP, said this system provides more people with the chance to consult with a mental health specialist.
“In this stressful time of limitations, changes and restrictions, we continue to be here for you and your families,” Warner said.
The Lanning Center also provides a 24/7 crisis line at 402-463-7711. Each call will be answered by a a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner.
