Dr. Brett Malchow received a Bachelor's Degree in biology and natural sciences at Midland Lutheran College in Fremont and his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He completed his residency with the Lincoln Family Medicine Program.
A Colon, Nebraska, native, Malchow developed an interest in medicine while pursuing his undergraduate degree.
"Being a physician is interesting because you get to wake up every day and do something a little different," Malchow said. "You can feel proud at the end of the day because you are helping people."
In his practice, Malchow takes special interest in wellness and preventive medicine, including colonoscopies.
"It is much better to be proactive, spending time and effort preventing health problems rather than be reactive when problems have already developed," he said.
In his free time, Malchow enjoys spending time with his family, classic cars, fishing, supporting Husker athletics and participating in or following a variety of sports.
