Mary Lanning Healthcare patients who are signed up through the electronic patient portal will begin receiving billing electronically on April 9.
The paperless billing is part of the services provided through the MyChart patient portal system. Those who have accounts through the MyChart app or the One Chart portal on the Mary Lanning website will be automatically enrolled in paperless billing.
If patients wish to continue receiving paper statements, they must opt out of paperless billing through the portal.
In order to opt out:
• Log in to www.marylanning.org/patient-visitor-info/patient-portal or enter the MyChart mobile app.
• Click “Menu” and “Billing Summary.”
• At the bottom of the screen below account boxes, click “cancel paperless billing.” Click “receive paper statements.”
Amanda Kohmetscher, MLH Director of Patient Financial Services, said MLH is happy to provide the new billing option to patients. For those patients who prefer paper statements, Kohmetscher said, her department is happy to help people opt out of paperless billing.
If patients are having trouble opting out, they can call 402-461-5241 for assistance.
For other information about the patient portal or access, patients should call 402-559-0700 or email OneChartPatient@NebraskaMed.com.
