HASTINGS — Mary Lanning Healthcare has invited the Hastings Police Department to train in an unoccupied house it owns near the hospital campus on Tuesday, December 11.
Steve Ardiana, MLH Director of Engineering, said MLH wanted to provide a community service by allowing local police to get training before the house is removed in preparation for upcoming construction. The project involves clearing areas for expanded parking for MLH patients, families and employees, and for the proposed Medical Offi ce Building expansion.
The training at 826 N. Denver Avenue will take place on Tuesday morning.
Ardiana said MLH is pleased to offer this extra benefi t to the police department.
“This is just another way that we can serve the people of Hastings,” Ardiana said.
