2025 Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Courses
Course Description
The ACLS course is designed for healthcare providers (RNs, APRNs, MDs, DOs, RRTs, etc.) who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. Through didactic instruction and active participation in simulated cases, students will enhance their skills in the recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute arrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS).
Types of ACLS Provider Courses Offered at Mary Lanning Healthcare
ACLS Full Course
The ACLS Full Course is designed for healthcare providers who have never taken an ACLS course or have previously taken an ACLS course and prefer to take the full course to renew their certification. Course dates and links to register are listed below. ****Participants are required to complete pre-course work. Upon registration, a confirmation email will be sent to you with instructions to complete. A refund will not be issued if the precourse work is not completed prior to the course.
HeartCode ACLS (skills practice/testing via voice-assisted manikin )
****If registering for this option, DO NOT purchase the HeartCode ACLS course from the AHA website.****
Participants will complete the online HeartCode ACLS course through our online eLearning system. The skills portion of the course will be completed using a voice-assisted manikin (manikin hooked up to a computer). With this option an instructor will not be present. Please allow 5-7 business days after registering to receive access instructions.
ACLS Prep Courses
The American Heart Association offers ACLS prep courses. These courses are also ideal for healthcare professionals who require basic rhythm recognition and/or pharmacology knowledge related to the ACLS algorithms.

Cost/Fees
The American Heart Association Guidelines require all participants to bring a current ACLS manual (2020 Version) with you to the course. You will use the manual throughout the course and can use it as a resource for the written and skills exams. The manual may be purchased at the time of registration for an additional $60.
Non-MLH Healthcare Professional:
- ACLS Full Course - $250
- HeartCode ACLS via eLearning system (skills completed through voice-assisted manikin) - $250
- Fee includes online HeartCode ACLS course and skills testing.
MLH Employees:

Dates / Registration
Pre-registration is required for ALL attendees.
Once you have registered, a confirmation email will be sent to you with details regarding the course.
Registration Deadline:
Five business days prior to class start date. Classes can fill up quickly. Please register early to ensure a spot in the course.
Cancellations:
If a cancellation is received five business days prior to class start date, the registration fee (minus the cost of the textbook and a $15 processing fee) will be refunded. Refunds will not be issued if cancellation is received after this date.
