HASTINGS — Ten students graduated from the Mary Lanning Healthcare School of Radiologic Technology on Saturday, July 16. Graduation took place at Hastings College’s Fuhr Hall.
Five graduates were from the Mary Lanning Healthcare (MLH) clinical site; five were from the CHI Health Good Samaritan (CHI) clinical site in Kearney.
Graduates include Sarah Cooper (MLH), Timothy Crocker (CHI), Sydnee Freeze (CHI), Allyson Huntley (CHI), Courtney Jameson (CHI), Jordan Lueking (MLH), Kayla Morris (MLH), Aundrea Powell (MLH), Shane Weyrich (CHI) and Whitney Williams (MLH).
Lori Dobish, RT (R) (M), who works at Grand Island Mammography, presented a graduation address.
The Bracco Diagnostics Award of Excellence, voted on only by faculty and clinical instructors, is based on the student’s behavior in the classroom, grades, quantity and quality of exams, patient care, how they work with others, performance under pressure, and ability to follow policies and procedures. The recipient was Allyson Huntley.
The Star Award was given to Whitney Williams and Allyson Huntley.
The 2016 Mary Lanning Healthcare Auxiliary - Irene Struss Scholarship was awarded to Natalie Russel (CHI).
