A new clinic set to open in Wood River soon will help the community meet its family medical needs.
The Wood River Economic Development Corporation, in conjunction with Mary Lanning Healthcare, is opening Wood River Family Care, 905 Main Street in mid-October.
Brian E. Bangs, CPA, President of the Wood River Area Economic & Housing Development Corporation, said the clinic will provide care for the entire family. In addition, pharmacy services will be available at the clinic for the convenience of customers.
Eric Barber, Mary Lanning Healthcare President & CEO, said he looks forward to helping the Wood River community by providing a consistent healthcare option.
“Mary Lanning Healthcare is branching out to provide healthcare at home for Wood River residents,” Barber said.
Clinic providers will see patients for general health and wellness assessment and treatment, administer vaccinations and provide school and sports physicals.
