HASTINGS — Mary Lanning Healthcare and Lifeteam are excited to announce a partnership that will bring dedicated helicopter and ambulance transport vehicles to Mary Lanning Healthcare.
The units will work in coordination with LifeTeam’s fixed wing network to provide transport to or from regional healthcare organizations for patients who require a higher level of care.
A Meet and Greet event is scheduled for 3:30-5:30 p.m. Friday, November 20 on the helipad north of Mary Lanning Healthcare. Light refreshments, as well as tours of the helicopter, will be available to the public.
“This new dedicated transport system provides immediate access for those who need specialty care,” said Eric Barber, MLH President & CEO.
“From its inception, LifeTeam was designed to serve as a healthcare provider, using air and ground vehicle in its practice of transport medicine,” said Martin Sellberg, MD, Medical Director and CEO of LifeTeam. “This patient focus is present in every aspect of safely transporting patients to specialty care, and we look forward to bringing our resources to the region.”
