Mary Lanning Healthcare is proud to offer its Sterling Connection program to the community, with educational sessions designed to optimize health and wellness. Membership is free to participants, age 50 and above. Program information is listed in the Sterling Connection portion of the Mary Lanning Healthcare Better Health Focus, distributed quarterly to the community.

The Sterling Connection program offers social events such as the Ice Cream Social and the Christmas Party, where we enjoy food, fun, and friends. Membership also offers discounts in the Mary Lanning Healthcare Cafeteria, Caring Kind Gift Shop, Garden View Grill  and an invitation to join us on travel opportunities.

Feb. 26	Estate Planning Event Sponsored by Mary Lanning Healthcare and Sterling Connection Time: 3:00pm Location: Conference Room 1 (Mary Lanning Lower Level) Details: Call 402-460-5600 for your reservation.

Mar. 3	The Musical "Annie" Location: Minden Opera House by Gannon Travel Details: $69 per person. We will dine at Burchill's White Hill Farmhouse.
Mar. 23 & 24	Adams County Health Fair Time: 7:00am – 2:00pm Saturday and Sunday Details: Preregister on line or call 402-461-5132 for help.
Mar. 27 & 28	Mystery Tour Details: Can't tell you what we are doing but it will be fun and includes lunch, dinner, admission and overnight accommodation. Cost is $249 dbl / person. Does not include a casino.

Apr. 4	Disney's "The Lion King" Location: Orpheum Theatre, Omaha Details: Sack lunch on the way and Dinner at Chances R. Cost $159 per person.
Apr. 11	Grief: "What helps when it hurts!" Time: 2:00pm – 4:00pm Location: Conference Room 1 (Mary Lanning Lower Level) Details: Presented by Pat Flodman, RN from Mary Lanning Healthcare Behavior Services.
Apr. 24	Gambling Getaway Location: Horseshoe Casino in Council Bluffs, Iowa Details: $30 per person includes free buffet luncheon, $5 playing money.

May 9	Diabetes Fair with DeAnn Carpenter, RN, CDE Time: 6:00pm Meet the Venders; 6:30 Speaker Location: Hastings City Auditorium
May 15	Stroke: What you need to know Time: 6:00 – 6:00pm Location: Adams County Fairgrounds Details: Neurologist Dr. Lorraine Edwards will discuss the definition of stroke, how it happens and associated risk factors. Ice cream social recognizing National Stroke Month to follow speaker. EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
May 25	"The Dixie Swim Club" Location: Lofte Theatre, Manley, NE Details: It's time for a good old-fashioned belly laugh. Cost $99 per person. Dinner at Mahoney State Park.
May 30 - Jun. 6	Mackinac Island, the Indiana Amish Countryside Location: 2 nights/ Grand Hotel, 2 nights/ Door County, Rock Island, Jumer's Hotel & Casino and Treasure Island Hotel & Casino in Red Wing, Minn. Washington Island, fish boil, horse drawn carriage tour and many more wonderful sights we'll see. Cost $1599 for double occupancy.

Aug. TBA	Winery Visits in Central Nebraska Details: Free wine glasses from the 10 vineyards we visit. Overnight trip.
SEPTEMBER
Sep. 23 - 26	Missippi Riverboat Crusing and Jumer's Casino Details: 2 day cruise on the beautiful Mississippi River, 2 nights lodging at Jumers Casino and Hotel, overnight lodging at the Grand Harbor Resort. Admission to the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium Cost $679 (double occupancy).

Dec. 1 - 8	San Antonio Christmas Details: 6 Nights lodging, 3 at the Menger, tour of San Antonio, Oklahoma City Memorial, Fort Worth Stockyards, LBJ Ranch, Fredericksburg and Texas Hill Country. Cost $1199 (double occupancy).
