Group Health & Dental Insurance – Contribution by Mary Lanning Healthcare & Employee

Participation will be available to employees working 24 or more hours per week. Option to include family members does not require employee premium payment. Premium dollars are non-taxable.

Vision – Contribution by Employee

Opportunity to purchase vision insurance from two different plan options for employees working 24 or more hours per week. Option to purchase benefits for family coverage is also available.

Life Insurance – Contribution by Mary Lanning Healthcare

Life insurance provided to employees working 36 or more hours per week. Benefit levels vary.

Group Life Insurance – Contribution by Employee

Opportunity to purchase life insurance for you and your dependents at reduced rates when employed 24 or more hours per week.

Flex Spending Account – Contribution by Employee

Pre-tax dollars used to pay eligible healthcare and dependent care costs.

Personal Medical Disability Insurance – Contribution by Mary Lanning Healthcare

Pays you 60% of your base pay rate during periods of medical disability extending beyond 14 calendar days for employees who work 36 or more hours per week.

Retirement Plan – Contribution by Mary Lanning Healthcare & Employee

401(k). The Employee may choose to contribute from 1% up to Federal Caps each pay period. Mary Lanning Healthcare matches 100% up to 3% of employee’s election and 50% of the next 2%. In addition, an annual year-end discretionary contribution may be made. Employee is 100% vested at time of eligibility.

Paid Time Off (PTO) – Contribution by Mary Lanning Healthcare

PTO accrues from day one, combining traditional holidays, vacations and sick time into one account. It is accrued bi-weekly at a rate that is based on length of service, job classification and number of hours worked. Maximum accrual levels established for each of the three rate levels.

Holiday Premium Pay – Contribution by Mary Lanning Healthcare

Time and ½ allocated for working major holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Bereavement Leave – Contribution by Mary Lanning Healthcare

Leave to make arrangements for or attend the funeral of a family member.

Educational Assistance – Contribution by Mary Lanning Healthcare

If criteria is met, reimbursement at the current approved rate for eligible job-related classes leading to a degree, national certification, job enhancement courses and some required inservices for accreditation.

Excel Program – Contribution by Mary Lanning Healthcare & Employee

Fitness center available during scheduled hours throughout the day and evening. Small annual membership fee.

Pharmacy – Contribution by Mary Lanning Healthcare & Employee

Employees are entitled to have their prescriptions filled at current employee discount rate. Limited supply of cold/flu medicines and pain remedies available.

Cafeteria – Contribution by Mary Lanning Healthcare & Employee

Employees receive a discount in the Cafeteria by wearing their employee identification badge.

Materials Management – Contribution by Employee

UPS/FedEx service available.

Employee Assistance Program – Contribution by Mary Lanning Healthcare, Employee & Health Insurance

Supportive Therapy Services will be provided for personal, family or marital problems at a reduced rate.

B.E.S.T. Program – Employee-funded Contributions

Funds available for employees experiencing financial hardship/catastrophes.

Teddy Bear Care Program – Contribution by Employee

Child care provided through the Pediatrics Unit to children of employees who are not able to attend day care due to illness/injury, pending space available.

Work Break – Contribution by Mary Lanning Healthcare

Up to 15 minutes may be taken for each four hours worked at the discretion of the supervisor.

Employee Health Services – Contribution by Mary Lanning Healthcare

Full-time, on-site employee health nurse available. Flu shots, rubella titer, TB test, and Hepatitis B antibodies offered at no cost to employees.

CPR Classes – Contribution by Employee

Classes are provided to Mary Lanning Healthcare employees for a nominal charge.

Employee Recognition – Contribution by Mary Lanning Healthcare

Employee Service Award Banquet and Employee of the Quarter Program are available.

Various hospital-sponsored activities throughout the year.

Jury Duty – Contribution by Mary Lanning Healthcare

Mary Lanning Healthcare will pay the difference between the amount employees would have earned from their normal work schedule and the amount they are compensated by the court.

Social Security – Contribution by Mary Lanning Healthcare & Employee

Income after retirement and in case of disability.

Worker’s Compensation – Contribution by Mary Lanning Healthcare

Protection under Nebraska Worker’s Compensation Act. Medical and income for employees who suffer a job-related injury.

Leave of Absence – Contribution by Mary Lanning Healthcare

A leave will be granted for personal, medical, educational and military absences after completion of the 90-day orientation.

Family & Medical Leave (FMLA) – Contribution by Mary Lanning Healthcare

A leave will be granted for up to 12 weeks, with or without pay, to employees with family or medical needs after one-year employment and 1,250 hours worked per year.

Liability Coverage – Contribution by Mary Lanning Healthcare & Employee

While functioning in your position as a Mary Lanning Healthcare employee, you are insured under the Mary Lanning Healthcare general and professional liability plan.
