"My experience as a Morrison Cancer Center patient was special. When I walked in the front door, the receptionists (Vicki Kyle and Sandy Bahensky) would always greet me with a friendly ‘hello’ and a big smile. Nurses (Cyndi Willhoit and Brenda Willnerd) were so kind and caring on my chemotherapy days. They would do anything to make things as pleasant as possible."
"Ken McGrath, dosimetrist, and radiation therapists,Vicki Baird and Zac Van Diest, scheduled my radiation treatments during the last appointment of the day so I could continue to work most days. Patient navigator (Barb Hoins) was always there to help me with any questions."
"Jaci Nore, cancer center project manager, was my backbone. She always stopped in to see how I was feeling, and Dr. Pornchai Jonglertham, medical oncologist-hematologist, took very good care of me. He has such a big heart."
"I was very blessed. Everyone in the cancer center, plus in the Mary Lanning Healthcare Laboratory where I work, were so supportive and caring. They all took my hand and helped me through my cancer treatments. Even if just with a hug or a smile, they were all there for me."
Thanks to everyone,
