Welcome to Mary Lanning Healthcare. Mary Lanning has been serving the healthcare needs of south central Nebraska for nearly a century, and we are proud of our reputation as a high-quality care provider. At Mary Lanning, our focus is always on the patient.
The success of Mary Lanning goes beyond the walls of the hospital. We engage the support of our entire staff—those who provide care and those who support care, as well as the community and our medical staff. We all work together toward a common goal—to provide the highest level of care to those we serve.
We will continue to expand the medical services offered at Mary Lanning. While advancing our tradition of service, education and community involvement, Mary Lanning Healthcare is dedicated to excellence, offering hope, health and healing.

As Mary Lanning progresses into the future, our focus continues to center on patients, families, visitors and the communities we serve. Private patient rooms, nurses and care providers who are easily accessible through an advanced communication system, an acute rehabilitation unit voted one of the Best of 2012, 24/7 surgical services including an endoscopy suite, a cardiac cath lab and technologically advanced equipment throughout highlight some of the features of Mary Lanning Healthcare.
Another example of our commitment to patients is evident at the Morrison Cancer Center. Here, patient- and family-friendly conveniences are complimented by some of the latest technologies and experienced professionals in the areas of medical and radiation oncology.
Mary Lanning reaches out to our region, providing care in other settings, such as medical clinics in Sutton, Blue Hill and Edgar and our Community Health Center, Hastings Family Practice and Moscati Health Center in Hastings. We also team with physicians to offer specialty services such as infectious disease treatment and pulmonary, sleep and critical care services. Additionally, diagnostic imaging services are offered both on the Mary Lanning campus and at our nearby, freestanding Hastings Imaging Center. We also bring care to our patient’s homes through our Home Care Services Department.
Mary Lanning is a center of excellence in behavioral health treatment with an inpatient unit on the Mary Lanning campus and an outpatient clinic nearby.
Together with independent healthcare providers and community members, we reach even more people and provide comprehensive wellness and healthcare. These relationships with the community have helped us build a community within Mary Lanning Healthcare—one that supports our goal of excellence—both in the care and outcomes provided to our patients.

About Mark Callahan:
Mark has been with Mary Lanning for over 25 year serving as Credit Manager of the Mary Lanning Business Office, Director of Clinic Operations and Medical Office Management and, most recently, Vice President of Outpatient Strategy. Active in our community and beyond, Mark has served on the Board of the United Way of South Central Nebraska . As UW Campaign Chair in 2011, he spearheaded the annual fundraising campaign. He also is a member of the Advisory Board for the Business & Technology Department of the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
