Megan Marble, RN
Megan Marble knew a lot about Mary Lanning Healthcare before she became the Nursing Quality and Improvement Advisor. Her own mother was treated for cancer and passed away here when Megan was just 6 years old. “It’s a full-circle moment that I am back at Mary Lanning,” Marble said. “I received my training elsewhere, but this is where I got my passion for nursing.”
Some of her fellow staff members remember caring for Marble’s mother. “That’s what we do for all of our patients here,” Marble said. “We know them not for their diagnosis but for who they are. My mother wasn’t anyone extraordinary but to me she was, and that’s how they treated her.”
